CleanTeQ Sunrise Project
Resources & Energy
Pritchard Francis was engaged by SNC-Lavalin to undertake the civil design and documentation associated with the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) for the CleanTeQ Sunrise Project in New South Wales.
The CleanTeQ Sunrise Project is one of the highest grade and largest nickel and cobalt deposits outside of Africa and one of the largest and highest grade scandium deposits in the world.
The scope of works included bulk earthworks, access roads, drainage swales, drainage basins, civil modelling and coordination with the processing infrastructure, ROM walls, raw water storage basins, generation of DFS drawings, commodity material take off’s, associated calculations and basis of design reporting.
Several iterations of the design were undertaken to ensure a cut to fill site was achieved to minimise the export/import of materials from the site boundaries.
The engineering and design services were undertaken on a tight timeframe to the client’s satisfaction. The team’s ability to be responsive to the client’s requirements has enabled Pritchard Francis to subsequently be engaged on another project led by SNC-Lavalin.
