Rosehill Waters

The redevelopment of the Rosehill Country Club in South Guildford integrated more than 600 new residential dwellings within the existing landform and village. Some existing buildings were retained for reuse within the community realm.

Rosehill is a significant area, abound with trees and undulating topography and crossed by a series of main services (DN760 water pipe, DN1050 Main Roads WA drain, district open drain with indigenous heritage) with adjoining residential dwellings and retention of on site structures. The increase in density all require additional provision of services and upgrades along with significant urban water provisions. A non potable third pipe is also being installed.

Pritchard Francis is part of the project delivery team for Rosehill. In conjunction with Urbis and Coterra, the team has developed a plan to deal with the array of constraints including ANEF Noise Contours, MRWA drain, open drain, WCWA Distribution Infrastructure, Aboriginal Heritage, Bush Forever, Swan River Trust and Department of Defence.

Pritchard Francis staff have been active with regard to tree retention and on site balance of materials. The Pritchard Francis team has been responsible for the initial planning, detailed review, concept design, service upgrades and preparation of design packs.

The development has received Six Leaf accreditation under UDIA’s EnviroDevelopment program. It is the first private subdivision in WA to receive the award for all six categories.
