- Walkway enables preventative and corrective maintenance work to take place without disruption to the operation of the existing Inspection and Maintenance Building.
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) required an additional single overhead maintenance walkway above Track 12 in the Maintenance and Inspection Building at the Nowergup Maintenance Facility (railcar depot), in order to increase capacity for maintenance of train car sets.
SMEC engaged Pritchard Francis to provide structural engineering consultancy services for the project, as well as schematic design for the extension to the facility.
