Fauntleroy Avenue Roundabout

Following the closure of Brearley Avenue at Perth Airport, there was an increase in traffic flow to the T-intersection at Fauntleroy Avenue and Dunreath Drive. To better manage this congestion, Perth Airport engaged Pritchard Francis to design and document the conversion of the intersection into a roundabout design.

The Pritchard Francis team acted as the Lead Consultant for all engineering aspects of the project and coordination with the sub consultant team, including electrical, communications, wayfinding and road safety audits. Given the nature of the immediate surrounds, considerations for confined road reserve widths, and impact to existing tenants and infrastructure, it was paramount that the project be detailed in a manner which would facilitate staging of the works.
