DN600 Water Distribution Main, Yanchep

To facilitate the subdivisional works of Lot 1011 Yanchep Beach Road, Pritchard Francis was engaged to undertake the detail design and contract administration of 720m of dia630PE water distribution main extension on behalf of the Water Corporation. This work included ultimately replacing an existing 460ACL main, which traversed through the development site and adjacent owner's property.

The overall 1km extension will service 556 residences within the new subdivision (also designed by Pritchard Francis), with the works being undertaken along a major road reserve and proposed roundabout. The new main connects to an existing dia460 asbestos cement distribution main, therefore works were designed in such a way to maintain continuity of supply to required service levels for the existing users.

Pritchard Francis undertook a scoping report to identify project and planning inputs. Following this report, preliminary and concept design was undertaken - including approval of alignments, pipe materials, control and operating requirements. Pritchard Francis is currently undertaking detail design to prepare the works for construction. Throughout the construction phase, we will undertake the contract administration for this project.
