Project Leader - Land Development

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a Project Leader specialising in the Land Development sector with a strong focus on professionalism, client delivery and innovation. You will be a key part of a vibrant close-knit and innovative team.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Civil infrastructure design including subdivisions, industrial and commercial projects with a key focus on Land Development.
  • Leading projects from technical design and documentation through to completion on site, and determining construction methods, materials, and quality standards, and drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures.
  • Continually monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs
  • Deliver professional services ensuring that projects are delivered to program, budget and to the highest quality standard.
  • Practice safety in project design and delivery, supported by quality checking and verification activities.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaising with and coordinating various stakeholders including clients, local councils, and authorities.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • The ideal candidate would be applying their experience to a diverse range of civil engineering projects, with the key focus on land development in addition to, property, civil infrastructure, and transport sectors.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently within a busy client focused team.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Civil Engineer.
  • Local Darwin and Northern Territory project experience will be highly regarded
  • Power and Water corporation experience and accreditation is highly regarded 
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
  • CPEng or equivalent charted status preferred but not essential.
