Kingsmill Apartments

This mixed-use office and apartment development in Port Hedland is comprised primarily of custom built, prefabricated steel “pods”. The pods were designed to be stacked up to four storeys high in this Region D cyclonic zone, and were accentuated by steel-framed screens and a parasol roof.

Pritchard Francis undertook the structural design for both the prefabricated units (which were to be built in Thailand) and the insitu built components, as well as the civil earthworks and drainage design for the site. This project is currently on hold pending approval to proceed to the next stage of works.
